Portable Aux Power
We Have the (Aux) Power
One small step for man, one giant leap for overland-kind. Say hello to our portable auxiliary power kit complete with 100AH lithium battery, 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter, USB ports, 12V accessory port, dual weatherproof receptacles, Bluetooth connectivity, cooling fans, and enough space to add all the gadgets your camping and overland needs require; in a completely portable kit! Oh, and did I mention it has solar AND DC-to-DC charging capabilities? Read on…
The Heart of the Kit
This is the Renogy 100 amp-hour lithium battery with a self-heating function to ensure you can still charge even in the most frigid of conditions. It also includes two ports for device connectivity and monitoring via a Bluetooth adapter or hub.

Leading the Charge
Gone are the days of anemic charging capabilities when up against long cables or poor alternator voltages. With the introduction of DC-to-DC charging you can now bridge that gap and ensure your aux batteries get the charge they need. Throw in a MPPT solar charge controller to boot and you’ve got one handy unit. Includes ignition trigger for smart alternator applications, battery temp sensor, and RJ45 comm port for connecting to a Bluetooth adapter or hub.

Rugged and Portable Enclosure
It’s just a box… until it’s not. This is the weather proof enclosure we’ve chosen to house all the power accessories. It’s much less expensive than some of the “name brands” but still made in the good ol’ US of A.
Branch Out
Blue Sea is the gold standard when it comes to marine grade electrical components. We’ve gone with the 6 circuit fuse block with dedicated ground bars to make terminations easy.
It’s the Little Things
Got electronics? These have you covered. This is the kit complete with faceplate, switch, and wiring harness. We disassembled it for our use and saved a few bucks (and time).
A Slick Solution
This little guy is just too cool. Plug and play too! Just snap this into the inverter, drill your hole, and plug in your favorite 120 volt gadget or gear.
Mr. Anderson…
Anderson plugs are cool. Flush mounted Anderson plugs for both solar and vehicle connections on your custom box are right out of the Matrix.
No Arcing and Sparking Allowed
Protect your investment with in-line fuses from Red Arc with the proper build for higher amperage, longer duration loads. (Cheaper bus style fuses will melt in these situations! Ask me how I know…)
Stay Cool, Stay Cool.
These little jet engines are some of the coolest (no pun intended but there it is) thermostatically controlled fans we’ve ever played with. Program the little chip just right and you’ll sip DC power only when you need it.
Breath Easy
While these didn’t work exactly as planned in the initial design, they’re still a solid option and once we get some time we’ll use these to protect the air intake as well.
We found some smaller options for going behind the DC to DC charger… not tested yet but they should be perfect if our measurements are right.
Can you hear me now?
This little unit is good for connection to a single device within the system…HUGE THANKS to one of our patrons for this tidbit of info for making it work with the battery and charger:
“Just built this same setup a month ago using all the same components. Had same issues with CAMBUS as I thought I could use the battery to bridge connection between BT-2 and Charge controller, but I eventually got it to work. First plug in just the battery to bluetooth module. Add battery inside the Renogy App, but click "HUB Mode" when adding it. Once it's been added, disconnect BT-2 and connect it to Charge Controller. Do the same process again by adding device, but click HUB mode. Once they are both added, bridge the connection with BT-2 connected to battery and battery connected to charge controller. Restart the App and everything should show up. I can see my DCC and battery stats at the same time.” -Dillon Mangum
Need to connect more than 2 devices? Here’s a link to their Hub.
Flexible and Tough
Not all welding cable is built the same. This particular brand has been the best we’ve used to date. Available in different lengths too.
Trailering Your Adventure?
We didn’t get to cover this little find yet but it seems to be the perfect plug for making Anderson connections to trailers SUPER easy and protected from the mud when not in use. I’ll end up putting one of these as outputs on all the rigs and one as an input to the trailer too. (no dangling cables when not in use)
